Kuro selects Cleaner Products

Posted by:pete

We are delighted to welcome a new ‘Eatery’ called ‘Kuro’ in London’s Notting Hill. The Japanese-minimalist vibe has 30 covers and includes a bakery, The team behind the ventures have some serious credibility, including Andrianos Poulis (formerly of Cornerstone in Hackney and Greek restaurant Mazi in Notting Hill) and Nicolas Ruty, a third-generation French baker who was previously Bakery Manager at Boulangerie de Paris London and Head Baker at The Savoy.

Kuro Bakery will not only produce freshly baked sourdough and pastries, but in keeping with Kuro’s Japanese-inspired ethos it will serve Shokupan: a soft and traditional Japanese milk bread. Powered by a full-production kitchen, they’ll also aim to sell baked goods to other West London businesses.

Stay tuned for further developments in 2023, including beehives and vegetable beds on the rooftop of Kuro to create produce for the kitchen and bakery.
